You may have played with RideWithGPS to look at cycling routes (and you may even be aware that the NCBC has a RideWithGPS club account), but with the RideWithGPS app and web site you can do way, WAY more than that, especially when paired with the newer Garmin devices.

Join us as app developer (and former NCBC president) David Cole shows off the new features of RideWithGPS (some not even yet announced) and demonstrate how you can use RideWithGPS to improve your cycling experience. You’ll wonder how you ever got along without it!  (Did we mention that NCBC has a RideWithGPS club account?)

Our Special Guest, Garmin regional representative Karen Harr will be on hand to present the system of Garmin cycling products, including the Garmin 1030 computer and the Vector 3 power pedals.

Bicycle Chain and NCBC will be providing pizza and beverages, so arrive between6:00 and 6:30 to eat and mingle.  Please note that NCBC meetings are open to the public.  (Click here for directions.)

Smith and Claude participated in a 2 week bicycling tour in Northwest Montana, including Glacier National Park this past summer. They will share the highlights of the trip, points of interests, trip stories and of course statistics and lessons learned.

Smith and Claude have loved touring on bikes since 1991 and have shared many of their past trips with NCBC members. Their most recent presentation was about their trip to New Zealand in 2016.

We meet at 6:00 to eat, and the meeting will start around 7:00. NCBC meetings are open to the public.

Note our new location at Hickory Tavern at Parkside Commons!

When it’s too cold outside to ride, why not do the next best thing – watch one!  It will be nice and warm inside the Hickory Tavern.  Join us as Kumar Palaniandy & Friends share pictures and stories about their epic ride along the GAP and the C&O Canal.

We’ll gather at 6:00 for dinner, and our meeting will start promptly at 7:00 PM. NCBC meetings are open to the public.
