Ride Like A Girl is the oldest women’s only all skills mountain bike ride in the Triangle. Helmets are required but experience isn’t! All women are invited to join these rides regardless of skill, speed or fitness.
Meet time: 5:45pm
Ride starts at: 6:00pm
Location: Meetup location at Crabtree: We will meet at the third parking lot on the right (across from the park office and where we meet for night rides). Look for directional TORC signs.
For this ride, beginner truly means beginner. If you have never been on singletrack, join the fun and ride in a no pressure, no drop group. Beginner riders should expect 1-4 mph rides that will last any where between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the group. Distance will be 1-4 miles.
Intermediate and above riders should plan their rides according to the ride leader and group and expect to ride 1.5 hours. Ride Like a Girl will meet at Lake Crabtree County Park almost every Tuesday night.
NOTE: When trails are closed, ride is cancelled.
Trail description: Trails are easy to moderate. Smooth flowy trails with slight up hill and down hill grades. All features have ride-arounds. You MUST wear a helmet. We recommend bringing a water bottle/hydration pack and wearing bike gloves also. Please make sure your bike is in good working order. If you love mountain biking and care about the environment, you belong with IMBA. That’s because supporting IMBA is the most effective way for you to build, maintain and open the trails you love to ride.
Please consider joining the TORC chapter of IMBA, part of your membership fee goes back to TORC to finance trail maintenance and trail building. You can sign up as an individual basic membership for $39. IMBA membership will help represent our dirt loving interests in the Triangle:
