After consideration, we have decided to update this ride to include folks identifying as underrepresented in mountain biking and their ally friends and family.
June is Pride Month! Let’s celebrate and show support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Feel free to wear rainbows ????, unicorns ?, and ruby red slippers ? (maybe not while riding).
The goal is to visibly support and celebrate members of our local mountain biking community who identify as LGBTQIA+, with a goal of creating an inclusive environment for everyone in a historically cis male-dominated sport.
This ride is open to all LGBTQIA+ individuals, allies, and anyone else who feels underrepresented in the mountain biking community.
We’ll ride Brumley, depending on trail conditions. Check trianglemtb.com for current trail status.
This will be a fun, social ride so all skill levels are welcome, but we especially encourage newer/beginner riders that need to work on their skills and confidence. We’ll break up into groups before we start based on skill level and how fast you want to go.
We will practice safe social distancing when not moving (and hopefully when rolling as well). Please be respectful of the other riders in our group and bring a mask or gaiter.
We ask that everyone be at least 16 years old or if less than 16 yo, accompanied by a parent or guardian on the trail during the ride.
