• What we’ll do
We will be meeting in the Raleigh Brewing Parking Lot. Please be ready to roll at 6 PM.
This ride goes through the city of Raleigh, the NCMA grounds, past Umstead Park, through the PNC arena, NC State and Meredith campuses, and some Raleigh neighborhoods. There is some traffic, stop signs and stop lights to deal with in certain spots. There are some large hills to climb.
There are 3 Ride Lengths for 4 Pace Groups:
13 – 14 MPH Average Pace – 15-Mile Route
15 – 16 MPH Average Pace – 18-Mile Route
16 – 17 MPH Average Pace – 18-Mile Route
18 MPH + Average Pace – 24-Mile Route :
!!!PLEASE NOTE THIS IS SUBJECT TO CONSTRUCTION CHANGES!!!
Please be able to maintain 13-mph average so the ride sweep doesn’t leave you. This is a no-drop ride, meaning that the group or a designated “ride sweep” will stop at intersections to assist anyone who needs direction or is having mechanical or physical difficulties.
Riders leave the parking lot at 6 PM.
It is a mixture of country road, city street, neighborhood street, and greenway. We leave the Raleigh Brewing parking lot at 6 PM and this ride should take about 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
Join us after the ride at Raleigh Brewing (http://www.raleighbrewing.com) for pints, socializing and food trucks! 10% of all Raleigh Brewing Taproom sales on Tuesdays goes to Team On Draft’s Bike MS Fundraising!
