Tuesday Raleigh Brewing Ride – C Pace Group (Beginner Friendly!)

July 13 @ 6:05 pm - 7:35 pm

What we’ll do:

We will be meeting in the Raleigh Brewing Parking Lot to ride 15 miles and to socialize after if you are healthy and vaccinated.

If you’re healthy and fully vaccinated, then please get back out on the road with us! We miss you! We will be meeting in the Raleigh Brewing Parking Lot to ride and to socialize after.

We require that riders be 14 days out from their final Covid vaccination. Please hold off until an appropriate time if you have not been fully vaccinated or if you have any Covid symptoms. We’re following CDC guidelines including masks and social distancing; however, we will not wear masks while rolling.

This ride goes through the city of Raleigh, the NCMA grounds, past Umstead Park, through the PNC arena, NC State and Meredith campuses, and some Raleigh neighborhoods. There is some light traffic, stop signs and stop lights to deal with in certain spots. There are some large hills to climb on this ride.

We will be leading the C group on Tuesday on this route –

13 mph Average Pace – 15-Mile Route
http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/1072085678/

Please be able to maintain 13-mph average so the ride sweep can keep up with the rear of the group.

This is a no-drop ride, meaning that the whole group or a designated ride sweep will stop at intersections and turns to assist anyone who needs direction or is having mechanical or physical difficulties.

Riders leave the parking lot at 6 PM.

It is a mixture of country road, city street, neighborhood street, and greenway. We leave the Raleigh Brewing parking lot at 6 PM and this ride should take about 1 hour and fifteen minutes.

Join us after the ride at Raleigh Brewing (http://www.raleighbrewing.com) for pints, socializing and food trucks! 10% of all Raleigh Brewing Taproom sales on Tuesdays goes to Team On Draft’s Bike MS Fundraising!

• What to bring:

A bicycle helmet, water, spare tube, patch kit and pump for your bike are required. Glasses are recommended for eye protection. There is a waiver that applies to the ride.

• Important to know:

Print and sign the waiver here (once per year applies to all TOD rides):
