21.7 mile course has a 1000′ of elevation gain and an out and back leg to keep riders off busy roads.
We are a no-drop ride, meaning that a designated “ride sweep” will stop at intersections to assist anyone who needs direction or is having difficulties. Please note, sweep is a volunteer role and not guaranteed for every ride.
This is a multi-pace ride. We will break into 2 or 3 groups based on pace, but all riders should be able to hold a average 15 mph pace on a hilly course.
We will meet in Greenwood Commons Shopping Center parking lot.
A helmet, water, spare tube, patch kit and pump are required. Glasses are recommended for eye protection.
After the ride, join us at the Glass Jug (http://glass-jug.com/) for a cold beverage. Select beers will be $3. Post ride hunger pangs? You can order dinner from one the restaurants in shopping center or schedule a dinner delivery from one of several local places. Glass Jug owners welcome all outside food.
Riders leave the parking lot at 6:00 PM.
