Join us for the scenic backroads in Orange and Alamance counties! And hipster omelettes! This ride leaves from Charles Herman Wilson park in Carrboro and includes a stop at Saxapahaw General Store (http://www.saxgenstore.com/), around mile 28, where we can get a snack and/or brunch. What we'll do: We will roll out of Raleigh Brewing Co. (RBC) at PM. Cycling route is TBD, but it is a mixture of city streets, neighborhood streets, and greenway (almost exclusively greenway). We leave the Raleigh Brewing parking lot at 1 PM and this ride should take about 3 hours or less; 25 miles or less route at about 11-13 MPH. We will start at the Woodcroft Shopping Plaza, head up Woodcroft Parkway, take a right on the ATT to Herdon Park where we will ride the entire Monday night route from 2017 (19 miles), head back down the ATT and Woodcroft Parkway to The Pub for a beer!
